On December 5th, 2016 Fscire promoted the launching of a European Academy of Religion: a network of network connecting Academies and Scientific Societies, Research Centers and Institutions, University Labs and Clusters, qualified Journals, Scientific Publishers and Media working on religion.
The initiative, started by the Foundation for religious studies under the High Patronage of the European Parliament and the Patronage of the Italian Minister for Education University and Research (MIUR) and the University of Bologna, was endorsed by more than three hundred institutions and about five hundred scholars came from European and Mena Countries either to attend the event and/or act as Founders of the Academy.
Now Fscire is organizing a first “Zero Conference” which will be held in 2017 in Bologna, from Sunday, June 18 to Thursday, June 22. The purpose of the conference – which will prepare the first Convention to be held in March 2018 – is to test the initiative of a European Academy of Religion as a research platform and as a network of networks.
Take a look to the Ex Nihilo page to know more about the “Zero Conference”.
