giulia grossi

Born in Modena in 1990. Since 2014 she is a Ph.D. Candidate at Giuseppe Alberigo School for Advanced Religious Studies, where she’s carrying out a biographical research about Don Alberto Altana (1921-1999). She studied at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and she graduated in 2013 with her thesis Monchio, March 18, 1944. A new interpretation of the massacre trough cinematographic and verbal sources and in 2014 with her thesis Don Alberto Altana (1921-1999). First perspectives and research hypothesis for a biography (supervisors Prof. Alberto Melloni and Federico Ruozzi). She is licensed to teach any grade between nursery school and primary school. In 2015 she studied at Goethe-Institut in Freiburg (Germany) and at the Faculty of Theology in Fribourg (Switzerland). She cooperated with the Historical Institute of the Resistance of Modena for the project “With the eyes of the memory”. She is working about the bibliography of Don Alberto Altana and she will publish he article in the journal “Cristianesimo nella Storia”.
