Bruno Cherubini was born in Verona in 1988. His main interest is in the history of the catholich church in the contemporary era, after the Second Vatican Council. He got his bachelor’s degree at the Trento University, with a thesis about the debate on episcopal collegiality at the Second Vatican Council. He graduated in 2014 in Bologna, with a thesis about the archive of Johannes Feiner, a swiss theologian, ecumenist and peritus at the Council, held at the Fondazione per le scienze religiose: Un ecumenista tra Roma e Zurigo: il fondo Feiner dell’archivio Fondazione Scienze Religiose Giovanni XXIII. In October 2014 he began his doctoral research at the Fondazione’s Alta Scuola Giuseppe Alberigo, being involved in the ecumenical study group. His thesis’ topic is about the reception of Unitatis redintegratio and the drafting of the Directorium Oecumenicum by the Secretariat for Promoting Christian Unity.
