Giovanni is following The two-year master’s program (MA) at the theological faculty of Emilia Romagna plus an additional three-year doctoral program (PhD), with national and international validity, to be held the theological faculty of Emilia Romagna.
Education and Academic Experience
Born in Egypt in Asawan in 1981, he graduated in Egypt at College of Education – University of Aswan in 2002. In 2007 he received the Bachelor of Theological Sciences at Pope Shenouda III Theological College in Luxor. Giovanni was ordained a priest in the Coptic Orthodox Church in 2007, John is the pastoral officer of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Luxor, in the city of Maris. He followed the courses of History of Christianity and History of Churches and Religious Movements, held by Prof. Umberto Mazzone, and History of Christianity and Christianity in a Global Context by Prof. Davide Dainese with whom he also took two exams with excellent profit. In addition, he attended three Italian language courses, one intensive at the Dante Alighieri Society (June 2016), one semester at the University of Bologna (I semester 2017-2018), a second semester at the Modern English school (I semester 2018-2019).
