From September 2020 to present I was assigned, in a position of command, to the Giovanni XXIII Foundation for Religious Studies of Bologna for carrying out the activities provided for by Law no. 448/98. I co-lead, together with Ms Laura Righi, the training of the teachers and projects for schools. I am interested in post-conciliar liturgical music. From September 1996 to September 2020 I was the Principal Headmaster at elementary and middle schools. From September 1983 to August 1996 I taught as a Tenured Teacher in several schools.

  • 1987 – Diploma in Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performing Arts for Music, at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the University of Bologna, with a thesis on “Ritual Music: Acclamation” (prof. Gino Stefani);
  • 1988 – Diploma in Piano from the Bologna State Conservatory
  • 1994 – Diploma in Pedagogy, at the Faculty of Education of the University of Bologna, with a thesis on “Music and educational projects – Hypothesis for a curriculum of sound and music education in elementary school (1st cycle and 2nd cycle) “(prof. Franco Frabboni, dr. Franchino Falsetti);
  • 1993/1994 – Specialization Diploma on the Directive and Inspection Function in schools, at the University of Florence-Department of Education Sciences;
  • 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 – Specialization Diploma in Music Education, at the University of Tor Vergata-Rome;
  • 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 – Second level Master’s Degree (two-years post-graduate course) in “Protection of minors. Educational, legal and psychological aspects “, at the University of Ferrara;
  • 2013 – Diploma for musical animators of the liturgy “Liturgical Music on line”, Italian Episcopal Conference-National Liturgical Office;
  • 2020 – Diploma from PLURES – Master in Religious Pluralism and Historical Knowledge, organized by the Foundation for Religious Studies of Bologna.
