The Senior Award 2019 (€ 20,000)

The awarding ceremony will take place during the EuARe Gala Dinner, on Wednesday, June 24, at the presence of the President of Emilia-Romagna Region, the Secretary-General of Fscire, and the President of the EuARe.

Some updates on the second edition of the Alberigo Award

The members of Fscire are now carrying out secret ballots until the absolute majority is reached to select three finalists and the winner in each category. In the meanwhile, we are happy to share with you the top three works indicated by the EuARe Executive Committee and Members.

The prize (Senior Award € 20,000; Junior Award € 10,000), dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Alberigo (1926-2007), is assigned by Fscire and the Emilia-Romagna Region together with EuARe: it rewards scholars engaged in a field of religious science, whether historical, exegetical, theological or other, without any form of limitation concerning the type of study.

The three finalists in each category will be invited to present a lecture at EuARe2020 when the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region or his delegate will confer the awards in a special ceremony.

We are glad to announce the list of works presented for the second edition of the Giuseppe Alberigo Award.
