G20 Interfaith Forum 2021: 12-14 September, Bologna
Time to Heal – Peace among cultures, understanding between religions
Many institutional meetings and special events will take place in the run-up to the G20 Summit. The Foundation for religious studies (FSCIRE) has taken on the responsibility of hosting the G20 Interfaith Forum in Bologna, the annual platform that brings together interreligious and intercultural organisations, religious leaders, scholars, humanitarian and development organisations, and economic and civil society actors, to offer insights and recommendations to help shape global political agendas.
The title of the Forum - "A Time to Heal” - invites to gather values and positive messages, of which the different faiths are holders, for a communion of intentions, which is even more important in a historical moment marked by the pandemic, and its dramatic consequences.
Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic
The event hosted 370 religious leaders, politicians, and scholars from 70 countries.
