Cristianesimo nella storia

Founded in 1980 by Giuseppe Alberigo, the journal is edited by the Fondazione per le scienze religiose in Bologna. It hosts research by authoritative scholars on the historical journey of Christianity, with a focus on the contexts and cultures in which Christians have encountered one another, from the Old Testament and Jewish period up to the present. Issued three times a year, Cristianesimo nella Storia offers critical essays, reports, notes and reviews that allow for critical evaluation of hypotheses that have emerged in international scholarly studies in the fields of History, Theology and exegesis. Each year one issue is devoted to a monographic subject matter.
The journal qualifies in band A in the Anvur rating for scientific-disciplinary areas 10/D1 (Ancient History), 11/A1 (Medieval History), 11/A2 (Modern History), 11/A3 (Contemporary History) and 11/A4 (Book and Document Sciences and Historical Religious Sciences).
