Education, academic and professional experience
Since November 1, 2024, he has been a PhD student at the National Doctorate in Religious Studies (DREST), with his research based at the Alta Scuola Europea di Scienze Religiose G. Alberigo (FSCIRE). His work focuses on the documents of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in the post-Vatican II period, contributing to the ongoing research project at the Foundation.
In July 2022, he graduated cum laude with a Master’s degree in Historical and Oriental Studies from the University of Bologna, with a thesis entitled Decolonization between Vatican II and Medellín: Decolonizzazione tra vaticano ii e Medellín: l’opzione preferenziale per i poveri (supervisor Prof. Marica Tolomelli; co-supervisor Prof. Davide Dainese).
In November 2020, he obtained a Master of Arts (equivalent to a Laurea Magistrale) in History from Royal Holloway, University of London, graduating cum laude with a thesis on the effects of the 1973 energy crisis on European monetary policy (supervisor Dr. Emmett Sullivan).
In July 2019, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (Laurea Triennale) in Modern History and Politics at Royal Holloway, University of London, with a thesis on the Italian Communist Party’s reaction to Khrushchev’s Secret Speech” and the process of de-Stalinization (supervisor Prof. Daniel Beer).
