Local Churches, Collegial Bodies, Roman Authorities - International Conference

From Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 December 2025, FSCIRE will host Local Churches, Collegial Bodies, Roman Authorities. Balances and Tensions in various Post-Conciliar Seasons, the international conference dedicated to analysing the dynamics between local churches, colegial bodies and Roman authorities in different periods in the years following the II Vatican Council, through a wide range of international case studies and a comparative study of reception processes of Vatican II.
The conference will be structured into five working sessions, plus a concluding round table for summary and discussion.
The sessions will be chaired respectively by: A presiedere le sessioni saranno rispettivamente: Massimiliano Proietti (FSCIRE), Luca Ferracci (FSCIRE), Federico Ruozzi (FSCIRE/Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia), Adalberto Mainardi (FSCIRE/DREST) e Silvia Scatena (FSCIRE/Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia).
The final session will be chaired by the secretary of the Fondazione, prof. Alberto Melloni.
