In Diem 8 – June 2026

The new issure of In Diem, the bulletin covering FSCIRE’s activities, is online and available for free dowloading.

In Diem n. 8 is entirely dedicated to #EuARe2026, the IX Annual International Conference of the European Academy of Religion, scheduled to take place in Rome from 30 June to 3 July focusing on the theme Religion and (in)equalities

The issue offers an overview of the panels presented by FSCIRE, reflecting our main research pipelines.
Notable topics to be addressed include historical interation between Cristianity and Islam, the status of catholic women in China at the beginning of the XX century, vatican diplomacy under Pius XII and the canon law of Eastern communities in dialogue with medieval Islam.

Among the contribution of philological and lexicographical nature, there are 
the project on the Septuagint (HTLS – Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint), the  semantic shifts associated with the concepts of testimony and martyrdom, and a reflection on the future of ecumenical memory.

The issue also include a panel dedicated to digital tools for the study of religions (dataset, softwares, and AI applications) in which FSCIRE will present european research infrastructures, RESILIENCE in particular, and their potential for the scientific community.
